PICK OF THE MONTH
#NEAR Protocol is one of the more interesting “survivor” Layer-1 projects right now because it has:
real technology, strong developer tooling and a clear AI narrative,
AND it avoided becoming a completely abandoned ghost chain.
But can it regain major mindshare and sustained user/network growth?
$NEAR held the $1 support zone and never had a decisive breakdown and that likely created a large accumulation base.
The recent move higher is impulsive! and accompanied by very strong #RSI momentum and the chart currently looks more bullish than bearish short-to-medium term.
So we have a multi-month base completed with momentum breakout that has reclaimed prior range.
We therefore have a "POSSIBLE" macro trend reversal beginning
However RSI is now very overbought so some pullback/consolidation is probable after this surge.
Important resistance zones
If NEAR breaks into the old 2024–2025 congestion area:
upside can accelerate quite fast because the chart becomes relatively thin structurally.
NEAR has strong Fundamentals that make it genuinely interesting.
AI narrative + chain abstraction
AI agents,
AI-native apps,
cross-chain interaction,
and “invisible blockchain UX.”
That narrative currently fits one of the strongest themes in crypto imo.
AI + blockchain convergence.
And Technically NEAR still has strengths such as,
Nightshade sharding
fast finality
relatively low fees
good UX
developer-friendly architecture.
And importantly:
developer activity appears to have remained reasonably healthy.
If you are into long term buy and hold then NEAR makes sense to me.
